Oh not another sucker in my midst!?!? The best advice my UNIX guru and mentor ever gave me was to halt all recognition of these "Hallmark Holidays" and simply surprise her ever so often with and equal or greater amount of gifts, attention, love and affection. He does not so much as remember a birthday or anniversary but he makes up for it all year long and it means that she cannot expect it and he can never be in trouble for not remebering it. Saves money and headaches. :)
OK, I still like the candy and chocolcates and that is it.
