Days like these...
I miss my drums sometimes. I'd like nothing better than being able to go home, find some suitable tunes, put the headphones on, and play myself into exhaustion.
I loved playing. I really did. I'd say I was capable, with random flashes of brilliance, but it was a lot of fun.
Of course, its no fun playing without a band. In Mossy's alternate universe, I am in a band that can play some fun stuff. Just covers, really. I'd be content to play in bars or things like that. I'd really love to put one together for an office bash.
But, drums cost money, and its a moot indulgence without a band to play in. At least air drums are free...

Honey, I've told you time and again that I'd love for you to get a band together. I'd be your groupie and we'd have a lot of fun. I think it'd be totally kickass. You could organize a Toronto version of Signal Hill.
Just be prepared for the Wondertwins wanting to play those drums, too.
Can you not make due with a set of Yamaha electronic ones for now? I saw this really cool roll up piano keyboard on Ellen today.
A goalie and a drummer? You are definitely one of the weird ones. I mean, every goalie I know is crazy and every drummer I know is too.
Welcome to all that is me. Weird.
I've always had a thing for drummers. Always. Dated a lot of them, finally married one.
Wait... I've noticed a pattern. Neither drumming nor goaltending require much leg movement.
You don't have feet, do you?
He has feet! Honest! I can prove it if only he'd let me take a picture of the happy faces he lets me draw on his toes!!! LOL!
I always had a thing for drummers too. I almost married one. LOL
I've also always had a thing for goalies. :)
If you spoke Spanish and rode a motorcycle, I'd fight Penny for ya. Heh. :)
That's cool that you're a drummer - you should totally get back into it.
He will definitely ride a motorcycle someday. We just have to wait till the kids move out and we can (hopefully) afford a nice cruising bike. He doesn't speak Spanish, but he does a great Russian accent and man, can he speak french. I have to convince him to do an audioblog so you can hear his voice, Steph. He's got the sexiest damn voice in the world. *shiver*
Who says goalies don't have to use their feet? Digi, I take it you never played hockey. Goalies have to have very quick feet and drummers have plenty of pedals to worry about.
*Gotta come to the defense of a goalie. That is what defensemen do.*
Mossy, you heard your wife -- get crackin' on that audioblog! :)
Quit poking holes in my theory, Larry.
Larry's about ready to poke anything.
Larry can poke me... he may not be a goalie BUT he does play hockey. :D
*reminding Danikabur that I am a drummer and a goalie*
Now, what was that you were saying about poking??
